3rd Shift DCA / PCA / Caregiver for Assisted Living

Birch Gardens in Staunton, VA located at 12 Royal Dr. is seeking compassionate and dedicated DCAs / PCAs / Caregivers. Full time and part time positions are available.

DCAs provide help to our residents. In this role, you will provide care services to residents while maintaining their safety and comfort.

DCAs / PCAs / Caregiver FT role will be eligible for generous Paid time Off policy (PTO), access to medical, dental and vision & company sponsored life insurance.

Additional responsibilities for DCAs / PCAs / Caregiver include:

• Assisting residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs)
• Supporting Residents in achieving their highest level of physical, emotional, and psycho-social well-being
• Helping out as needed in the Resident Services area to ensure the safety, comfort, and well-being of our Residents
• Follow all policies and procedures, adhering to instructions of Administrator
• Follow all policies and procedures, adhering to instructions of Administrator
• Assist Residents with their ADL's and the administration of their medications
• Ensure the safety and wellbeing of all Residents while following company policies and procedures
• Follow Medication Administration Records (MAR) and doctors’ orders (as applicable) (For RMAs)

Qualifications of DCA / PCA / Caregiver :

· Must be able to speak and read in English

· Experience with senior population

· An abiding love of seniors is mandatory

· Extremely reliable, dependable, and observant
