Location: Palos Park, IL 60464
Pay Rate: $20$25 per hour
Shift: Full time
Description:
Birch Agency is currently hiring a Special Education Paraprofessional to work near Palos Park, Illinois for the 20252026 school year. This is a full-time, in-person position supporting students in PreK5th grade.
Position Overview:
Qualified candidates will provide support to students with a range of needs. Responsibilities may include:
Assisting non-verbal students with daily living skills
Providing academic support in small groups or one-on-one
Supporting students with behavioral needs under teacher/BCBA guidance
Maintaining a safe, positive learning environment
Requirements:
Active Illinois Paraprofessional License
Experience working with students with disabilities preferred
Strong communication skills, patience, and compassion
Compensation:
Competitive pay based on experience: $20$25 per hour
