Description

We are currently hiring special education teachers for job opportunities in the New Holland, PA area for the school year. We have positions available for Special Education Teachers from elementary to high school levels. We are interested in working with special education teachers who have a passion for making a difference in students' lives by providing differentiated instruction to help them achieve academic success.

Duties And Responsibilities

• Provide direct childcare services, including serving as the child’s teacher.
• Assist in implementing the classroom plan according to state and local licensing regulations and Birch Agency’s policy and procedures.
• Maintain a classroom environment that is conducive to learning through implementing program planning.
• Maintain professional growth through professional development opportunities.
• Support the Special Education Coordinator in implementing the Early Childhood Development Plan in accordance with state and local licensing regulations and Birch Agency’s policy and procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Director of Special Education or the School Principal as needed.

Experience

• Bachelor’s/master’s degree in special education
• PA Department of Special Education Teacher Certificate
