Position Overview
Birch Agency is seeking a passionate and qualified Special Education Teacher to join a high school in St. Paul, MN. This is a full-time position working with high school students to provide specialized instruction, implement IEPs, and support academic and behavioral growth.
Responsibilities
Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) aligned with state and district guidelines.
Provide direct instruction and support to high school students with varying needs.
Collaborate with general education teachers, paraprofessionals, and related service providers.
Maintain accurate documentation, progress monitoring, and compliance with special education requirements.
Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
Qualifications
Bachelors or Masters degree in Special Education or related field.
Valid Minnesota teaching license in Special Education.
Experience working with high school students preferred.
Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
