Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging, standards-aligned mathematics instruction.
• Create a structured and positive classroom environment.
• Differentiate instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners.
• Assess student understanding and monitor academic progress.
• Provide additional support and interventions when needed.
• Maintain accurate student records and documentation.
• Communicate with families regarding student progress and needs.
• Collaborate with colleagues, administrators, and support staff.
• Encourage students to develop strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
• Follow school policies, curriculum standards, and applicable educational requirements.
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Education, or a related field.
• Valid South Carolina teaching certification in Secondary Mathematics or eligibility for certification.
• Previous secondary teaching experience preferred.
• Strong classroom management and communication skills.
