Birch Agency is seeking Special Education Teachers to join our team

We are currently hiring special education teachers for job opportunities in the Bronx, NY area. We are open to full-time candidates. We are interested in working with special education teachers who have a passion for making a difference in students' lives by providing differentiated instruction to help them achieve academic success.

Duties And Responsibilities

• Provide direct childcare services, including serving as the child’s teacher.
• Assist in implementing the classroom plan according to state and local licensing regulations and Birch Agency’s policy and procedures.
• Maintain a classroom environment that is conducive to learning through implementing program planning.
• Maintain professional growth through professional development opportunities.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Director of Special Education or the School Principal as needed.

Experience

• Bachelor’s/master’s degree in special education
• NY Department of Education Teachers Certificate: Special Education
