About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Collibra Data Quality Engineer & Solutions Architect to join our Data Governance team. You will lead the installation, configuration, and administration of the Collibra Data Quality platform while designing automated data quality frameworks and integrations that improve data trust and governance across the enterprise.
This role blends direct technical delivery, platform ownership, and solution design in support of enterprise data quality and data governance initiatives.
You must have valid US work authorization and must physically reside around the posted city, within a 50-mile commute. We are unable to support relocation costs.

Key Responsibilities:
Platform Ownership & Administration:
- Install, configure, upgrade, and maintain Collibra Data Quality and related components.
- Ensure performance, reliability, and operational standards are met.
- Manage platform releases, patches, and vendor coordination.
Data Quality Engineering:
- Design and implement DQ checks, validation rules, profiling, and anomaly detection.
- Build automated remediation workflows and exception handling patterns.
- Connect to and scan RDBMS, Snowflake, cloud platforms, and data lakes.
- Implement CI/CD pipelines and Git-based version control for DQ assets.
Application Development & Integration:
- Develop Collibra workflows, custom integrations, and Java-based components.
- Build microservices and event-driven solutions for DQ automation.
- Support real-time data quality monitoring and platform integrations.
Enablement & Collaboration:
- Partner with Data Governance and Engineering teams to scale DQ practices.
- Provide user onboarding, documentation, and training.
- Serve as SME for data quality standards, rules, and scorecards.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field, or equivalent experience.
- 10 years in Data Engineering, Data Governance, or Data Management.
- 5 years administering and configuring Collibra Data Quality.
- Proven experience with enterprise DQ platforms and workflow automation.
- 6 Strong Java and API development experience.
- Hands-on integration with RDBMS, Snowflake, and REST/Java services.
- CI/CD and DevOps experience supporting data platform artifacts.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Collibra APIs, SDKs, and advanced workflow automation.
- Experience building DQ metrics and scorecards tied to Collibra metadata.
- Knowledge of event-driven architectures, microservices, and cloud data platforms.
**The base salary range for this role is $120,000 - $200,000**
