Biozen, LLC is a healthcare technology company based in Atlanta, GA. The company's primary technology is a cuffless blood pressure sensor package designed to be implemented into smart watches and wearables.
Role Description:
This is a full-time job for a nurse's aide. The nurse's aide will be responsible for helping conduct human subjects studies, where they will do subject intake, and perform clinical grade auscultation. This will require taking subjects’ blood pressures non-invasively using standard auscultation method and recording vitals. The ideal candidate is a nurse's aide who:
• Earned high school diploma,
• Has at least two (2) years of experience as a nurse's aide,
• Hold American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) ,
• Has knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology,
• Is proficient in performing intake procedures and measuring vital signs,
• Is familiar with medications,
• Has Strong communication skills to effectively interact with subjects and the scientific team,
• Is committed to delivering high-quality subject care while adhering safety protocols.
The daily duties will include:
• Performing intake assessments, including recordings vital signs and medical histories,
• Managing patient records using Electronic Health Record (EHR) or Electronic Data Capture (EDC) systems,
• Providing exceptional patient service by addressing inquiries and concerns,
• Maintaining cleanliness and organization within clinical research areas,
• Participating in the preparation of subjects for EKGs, and other diagnostic tests,
• Keeping track of supplies in the study room, and
• Participating in care team meetings to discuss patient care and clinical operations.
