Accounts Payable Specialist (Part-Time)

Position Summary
The Accounts Payable Specialist is responsible for coordinating daily business office operations at the Caldwell location while managing accounts payable, vendor management, and administrative functions that support BioWest Ag Solutions' financial and operational objectives. This position also provides administrative support for corporate activities, executive leadership, and cross-functional business initiatives.
As a key member of the Business Management Unit, the Accounts Payable Specialist ensures accurate and confidential financial processing, maintains efficient business office operations, fosters positive relationships with vendors and internal stakeholders, and contributes to the overall effectiveness of the organization through professionalism, collaboration, and attention to detail.
Primary Responsibilities
Process accounts payable transactions and maintain vendor records.
Maintain accurate, confidential financial and business records.
Provide professional customer, vendor, and internal departmental support.
Provide administrative support for corporate activities and executive leadership.
Prepare reports, correspondence, and business communications.
Collaborate with team members across multiple BioWest locations.
Support corporate initiatives and special projects.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred.
Minimum two years of office administration experience.
Minimum two years of Accounts Payable experience.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, and Excel; experience with accounting or ERP software required.
