Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Human Resources Generalist, located in Jeffersonville, IN. The HR Generalist will be responsible for handling a variety of HR-related tasks, including sourcing, recruiting and vetting candidates, managing and implementing HR policies, providing support for employee benefits and benefits administration, ensuring compliance with employment laws, and fostering a positive work environment. The role will also involve managing employee relations, assisting with recruitment, and contributing to strategic HR initiatives.
Qualifications
- Strong background in recruiting and vetting candidates.
- Proficiency in Human Resources management and administration
- Experience in developing, implementing, and managing HR Policies
- Payroll and compensation experience.
- Knowledge and expertise in Employee Benefits and Benefits Administration
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and employees
- Attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field a plus
- Familiarity with HR systems, Paychex payroll, as well as local, state, and federal labor laws
