Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site position based in Columbus, GA. The Procurement Specialist will be responsible for managing procurement processes, including sourcing vendors, negotiating contracts, and maintaining supplier relationships. The Specialist will monitor inventory levels, issue purchase orders, and ensure timely delivery of materials and services. The role also involves analyzing market trends to optimize costs and ensuring procurement practices align with organizational goals and compliance requirements.
Qualifications
2-5 years of
- Procurement, Vendor Management, and Inventory Management skills
- Strong negotiation and contract management experience
- Analytical skills for market trend analysis and cost optimization
- Proficiency with procurement systems and enterprise software
- Attention to detail and ability to ensure compliance with company policies
- Strong organizational, time management, and multitasking abilities
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, or related field preferred
- Experience in the healthcare logistics industry is a plus
