Responsibilities

Our Role:

The Inventory Specialist will play a critical role in helping build and maintain our new Customer Supplied Materials lockup. The position operates within a secured, temperature controlled warehouse environment supporting medical supplies and customer-owned inventory. The immediate objective is to help establish the new storage area, pick work orders daily, perform cycle counts, maintain inventory accuracy, and train 1 to 2 associates as needed. This role supports inventory integrity, customer satisfaction, regulatory compliance, and overall supply chain efficiency. This role is fully onsite out of our Columbus facility.

Your Impact

Build, organize, and maintain the Customer Supplied Materials storage area while ensuring inventory accuracy and traceability.

Pick, stage, and replenish materials for work orders in a timely and accurate manner to support production schedules.

Perform daily cycle counts, investigate inventory discrepancies, and implement corrective actions to maintain inventory control.

Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with Purchasing, Operations, and Customer Service teams to prevent shortages or excess inventory.

Utilize barcode scanners and warehouse management systems to accurately record inventory transactions and material movement.

Train and support associates working within the customer-supplied inventory area while promoting standard work practices and compliance requirements.

Maintain a safe, clean, and organized warehouse environment in accordance with 5S principles and company policies.

Skills & Qualifications

What We Need:

Experience with Inventory Control in a warehouse environment

Familiar with cycle counts in a warehouse environment

Picking and stocking material in an accurate manner in a warehouse environment

Experience with barcode scanning and warehouse management systems (WMS). Knowledge of shipping regulations, inventory transactions, and documentation requirements.

Previous experience in a fast-paced logistics, distribution, or medical device environment preferred.

Strong communication skills (Written & Verbal) to effectively liaise with suppliers and internal teams.

What You Bring

High school diploma or above.

Proven experience in inventory management and inventory control.

Basic computer skills, including familiarity with inventory management software and Microsoft Office.

Ability to lift and move heavy objects up to 30-50 pounds regularly.

Ability to use a digital scan gun and handheld RF devices.

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
