Logistics Specialist

The Logistics Specialist will organize the storage and distribution of goods. This position is involved in inventory control, receiving, warehousing, and monitoring the receiving and release of goods.

Responsibilities

· Responsible for the release of products to customers.

· Responsible for following procedures for all activities related to the Biotech Dental Quality Management System and complying with all training requirements.

· Responsible for documenting and forwarding all complaints immediately to customer service and/or Quality.

· Responsible for maintaining, monitoring, and controlling product quality, quantity, stock inventory, delivery times, and transport cost and efficiency.

· Responsible for the shipping and receiving of all products.

· Responsible for controlling the movement of all inbound and outbound products and for placing products in the proper inventory location in a timely manner.

· Responsible for strategic planning and managing logistics, warehouse organization, and for customer services.

· Responsible for maintaining a clean and organized workspace.

Qualifications

Education: High school diploma.

· Experience: None required (entry level).

· Qualifications: Must have effective communication skills, the ability to multi-task, and must demonstrate excellent attention to detail.

· Physical Requirements: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, use hands, talk, and hear. The employee frequently is required to walk and sit for extended periods of time. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 lbs.
