Software Engineer

A fast-growing neurotechnology company is building implantable systems that restore autonomy for patients. Backed by major recent funding, the team is now hiring a Research Engineer to build the software tools and infrastructure that enable rapid, iterative neuroscience and ML research.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain software tooling and infrastructure for fast research cycles.
• Develop user-facing systems for real-time time-series data processing.
• Support cloud environments and ML experimentation workflows.
• Collaborate across engineering, neuroscience, and clinical teams.

You Will Need

Must Have:

• 1–5 years of software development experience.
• Strong Python skills.
• Experience with time-series data (e.g., sampling rates, real-time processing).
• Eagerness to have a strong office presence

Nice to Have:

• Cloud infrastructure experience.
• Swift or front-end experience (not required).
• Basic understanding of ML.
• Backgrounds in robotics, autonomy, or fast-paced platform engineering.
