Senior Marketing Manager
Role Overview
The Senior Marketing Manager leads strategic upstream and downstream marketing for the US Implant Business Unit. Reporting to the VP of Commercialization, this role owns brand positioning, product launch strategy, sales enablement, and demand generation across a urogynecology portfolio. Works cross-functionally with Sales, Training, Regulatory, and R&D to translate clinical and customer insight into commercial programs that drive franchise growth, surgeon adoption, and measurable pipeline impact.
Responsibilities
- Strategy & Roadmap – Own go-to-market strategy and product roadmap from concept through launch and lifecycle management
- Positioning – Define brand positioning, messaging, and clinical differentiation; ensure claims are evidence-backed and regulatory-compliant
- Launch Execution – Plan and execute product launches with R&D, regulatory, clinical, and sales; develop launch sequencing, training, and KPIs
- Sales Enablement – Build sales toolkit including value propositions, objection handling, competitive intelligence, and surgeon-facing collateral
- Demand Generation – Manage conference presence, KOL and fellowship engagement, and digital programs to build surgeon awareness and pipeline
- Customer Insight – Conduct VOC research at trade shows and in the field; translate findings into product and campaign requirements
- Analytics & ROI – Define and track marketing KPIs, ROI, and franchise growth metrics; build data-driven business cases tied to pipeline and revenue
- Leadership – Manage budget, agency/vendor relationships, and cross-functional programs; may mentor or directly manage marketing staff
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Life Sciences, Communications, or related field
- 4 years in marketing, or 2 years marketing experience MBA; medical device marketing preferred
- Experience with trade show management, digital marketing, and product line marketing required
- Demonstrated ownership of product strategy, positioning, and launch execution
- Strong analytical skills with ability to translate data into commercial strategy
Preferred Qualifications
- MBA or advanced degree
- Medical device, women's health, or urogynecology marketing background
- Familiarity with surgeon adoption dynamics and OR environment
- Experience marketing in a regulated environment (FDA, CE)
- Working knowledge of GPO/IDN contracting (Vizient, Premier) and Salesforce CRM
