Odor Mitigation Technician — Growth Opportunity

About the Role

BioSweep of Central Florida specializes in odor mitigation — eliminating cigarette smoke, pet odors, fire smoke, and other stubborn odors from homes, apartments, vehicles, and fire-damage insurance claims. We're looking for one motivated technician to grow with our team — starting part-time, with a real path toward full-time or near-full-time hours as you build skill, take on more jobs, and grow client relationships.

What You'll Do

●        Perform odor mitigation treatments at residential homes, apartments, and vehicles

●        Handle fire/smoke damage remediation jobs, including insurance-related work

●        Help build and grow our auto dealership service accounts — an area with direct upside for you as it grows

●        Use company-provided, proprietary equipment and follow established treatment protocols

●        Represent BioSweep professionally with customers and referral partners

●        Take on more responsibility over time, with room to grow into a Lead Technician or General Manager role

Compensation

●        Paid per completed job, not hourly — rewards efficiency and quality work

●        Typical earnings equivalent to $40–$50/hour based on a standard job mix

●        Minimum daily guarantee of $125 when at least one job is completed

●        Earnings and hours grow as you take on more job volume and build your own client relationships

●        Clear growth path: Technician → Lead Technician → General Manager

What We're Looking For

●        Someone looking to build a long-term role, not just supplemental income

●        Reliable, detail-oriented, and comfortable with physical, hands-on work

●        Valid driver's license and clean driving record

●        Comfortable wearing PPE and following safety protocols

●        Open availability, with willingness to take on more hours as the role grows

●        Background in a physical trade, first response, cleaning, or restoration work is a plus, but not required — we train

●        Must be able to pass a background check (required for work on insurance company jobs)

●        Must be able to pass a fit test for a full-face respirator
