Biostock LLC is a growing, midsized wood products manufacturer specializing in premium animal bedding and pine shavings. We process high-volume materials, delivering both retail-ready bagged pallets and loose bulk materials by the full truckload. As our facility expands and we integrate advanced automated manufacturing equipment into our production lines, we are looking for a highly skilled Industrial Maintenance Technician to keep our operations running safely and efficiently in Burnsville, MS.
Key Responsibilities
- Equipment Upkeep & Troubleshooting: Perform routine and preventive maintenance on high-volume industrial machinery, including bulk material conveyors, bagging systems, and pallet wrappers.
- Robotics & Automation: Troubleshoot and maintain automated manufacturing cells, taking a lead role in working with our CNC machine tool controls and FANUC robotics.
- Mechanical & Electrical Systems: Diagnose and repair electrical panels, PLCs, motors, VFDs, mechanical drives, and both hydraulic and pneumatic cylinders.
- Facility Maintenance: Ensure the optimal operation of plant utilities, commercial dust collection systems, and heavy industrial equipment.
- Safety & Compliance: Adhere strictly to OSHA standards, execute lock-out/tag-out procedures, and maintain accurate records of maintenance work and parts inventory.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; an associate degree or technical certification in industrial maintenance, mechatronics, or a related field is preferred.
- 3 years of experience in industrial maintenance, preferably within wood products, agriculture, or bulk processing environments.
- Hands-on experience troubleshooting and maintaining CNC controls and industrial robotics (FANUC experience is highly desired).
- Strong proficiency in reading electrical ladder logic diagrams, hydraulic blueprints, and mechanical schematics.
- Solid background in mechanical drives, 3-phase electrical components, and basic PLC troubleshooting.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to respond swiftly to urgent production breakdowns to minimize downtime.

Pay: $23.33 - $28.09 per hour
