Position Summary
Biostate AI is seeking a UI/UX designer with hands-on product design experience and a track record of shipped work. The designer will design new screens and features across our applications and software, from initial concept to the finished product, and help bring those designs into code.
Responsibilities
- Design new screens and features for our applications and software, from initial concept to finished visual
- Turn product requirements into user flows, wireframes, and high-fidelity designs
- Build and maintain a consistent design system across our products
- Prototype and help implement designs in code, including with AI-assisted development tools (such as Claude Code or Codex)
- Deliver developer-ready assets and specs (SVG, PNG, and similar)
- Review built features and follow through on design quality after release
Qualifications
- 1 to 3 years of UI/UX or product design experience
- A portfolio that includes real projects shipped to users, with your role in each clearly described
- Proficiency with Figma (preferred) or similar design tools
- Hands-on web coding experience (such as HTML and CSS)
- Experience with AI-assisted development tools is a plus
- Experience designing data-heavy or scientific interfaces is a plus
- Strong visual judgment and the ability to work independently from a general brief
- Highly motivated and comfortable in a fast-paced startup environment

Salary : $50,000 - $65,000
