What We Offer
The Lead Warehouse Operator will assist the supervisor overseeing the daily operations of the warehouse, ensuring the efficient and effective management of inventory, equipment, and personnel. The Lead Warehouse Operator will be responsible for scheduling inbound and outbound loads, corresponding with customer service and carriers. They will also be actively involved in warehouse activities, such as staging orders and loading/unloading. This individual will work Monday - Friday, from 7 AM - 3 PM.
The ideal Lead Warehouse Operator candidate should have extensive experience in warehouse operations, including proficiency in communication with external carriers, operating various material handling equipment, maintaining inventory accuracy, and coordinating the workflow of the warehouse team.

What You’ll Do As a Lead Warehouse Operator
- Demonstrate an unwavering commitment to Lesaffre's safety-first culture by strictly following all safety protocols and participating in required safety programs
- Coordinate with the customer service team and carriers to schedule and manage the flow of inbound and outbound loads, ensuring shipments are delivered on time
- Check in drivers upon their arrival for both inbound and outbound loads, verifying the accuracy of the shipment details and maintaining proper documentation
- Assist in necessary warehouse operator functions, including operating material handling equipment, picking and packing orders, and maintaining a clean and organized work environment
- Conduct regular inventory audits and maintain accurate inventory records, identifying and addressing any discrepancies
- Assist the warehouse supervisor with the completion of special projects and tasks as assigned, contributing to the overall efficiency and productivity of the warehouse operation
- Coordinate daily warehouse operations and assignments in the absence of the supervisor
- Other duties as assigned
- High School Degree or equivalent
- 3-5 years of experience
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to be forklift certified required
