Job Description

Develop,executeand manage IT projects within the defined scope. Expedite, manage andcoordinateda multitude of interrelated IT project activities within the constraints of human and financial resources and changing priorities to ensure the successful completion of projects.

Responsibilities

Responsible for compliance with applicable Corporate and Divisional Policies and procedures. Quality Management: Responsible for compliance with applicable Corporate and Divisional Policies and procedures.

Initiateand Plan IT Projects: Works with business and IT management toestablishand gain consensus on project goals,objectivesand deliverables.

Project Control: Assess the degree to which changes to scope, issues and risks willaffect projectsworking with division and cross divisional management andsponsorto gain agreement for resolution. Measure performance toassurethe project is progressing as compared to original plan and budget

Executing and Closing Projects: Develops and executes a work plan obtaining authorized resources to ensure all activities are performed. Gather lessons learned and obtain final project approval fromsponsorand stakeholders.

Project Communication: Communicate project progress by producing project reports to providetimelyandaccurateproject status and decision support information to Project Team, Division, Cross Division and Executive management. Makes recommendations based on current project status to resolve issues.

Resource and Team Management: Coordinate resources to ensure project needs are addressed and effectively assign tasks and deliverables to team members based upon their abilities. Supervises, motivates andmentorcross-functional /cross divisional project team of project managers, business analysts, developers, and validation analysts.

Quality Management: Responsible for compliance with applicable Corporate and functional policies and procedures.

Decisions: Make decisions thatimpactproject level activities. Influencesor hasfinal decision authority for project budget.

Financial Control: Develops and manages a large financial plan with multi-milliondollarspendover multiple years. Tracksactualspend, accruals, proactively creates spend estimates on a regular basis (at least monthly) and coordinates estimates and invoices with project vendors,in order tomaintainspendat /- 10% of the overall project budget.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree with 8 years experience OR Master's Degree with 7 years experience OR PhD with 3 years experience.
  • At least 8 years of proven experience with driving projects through various phases of a system development lifecycle (SDLC), using Waterfall and Agile Methodologies as appropriate
  • At Least 5 years of experience managing significant IT projects in a Pharma environment
  • Must have managed Project budgetsin excess of$1MM
  • Must have demonstrable Executive Presence
  • Proven Microsoft Office skills arerequired.

  • The compensation range described below is the range of possible base pay compensation that the Companybelieves ingood faith it will pay for this role at the timeof this posting based on the job grade for this position.Individualcompensation paid within this range will depend on many factors including geographic location, andwemay ultimatelypay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in thefuture.

  • This job is eligible to participate in our short-term incentiveprograms.
