In the role of Senior Analyst, BusinessSystemsyou will support many functional areas and apply relevant principles.

TheSenior Analyst, Business Systems IAIwillassistin providing visibility, guidance, and oversight for project capital/expenseand functionalbudget management.This role will require active involvement inanalytics, financials,and process improvement.

Responsibilities

• Point of contact forInfrastructure, Architecture and Innovation (IAI) teams with respect to project capital/expense activities, including requests foradditionalfunding,demand management, and RCE submissions.
• Usesappropriatetoolsto collect, correlate, and analyze data;maintainsfinancial records; andcollaborateswith Finance to prepare materials for planning reviews, including cost center-level detail, project spend, and functional budgets.
• Monitor and report financial performance, prepare monthly meeting presentations with cross-functionalpartners,andassistin communicating status to BTS Finance, leadership,deliveryteams,and colleagues.Leveraging project management practices and tools (e.g.,Jira).
• Applies analytical thinking to diagnose financial workflows, recommend process improvements, andoptimizefinancial operations through data analysis, process mapping,dashboards,andAI/automation, while collaborating with cross-functional teams to improve efficiency and enhancefinancialaccuracy by standardizing procedures.
• Provide guidance to project teams on year-end close activities,projectclosure, capitalutilization, and ad hoc analysis, as well as thenew-yearprocesses.
• Assistwith driving operational excellence and standards for monthly expense LBEs (Latest Best Estimates), annual Capital Plan, Functional Budgets, and LRP activities.
• Responsible for compliance with applicable Corporate and Divisional Policies and procedures.
  
  
  

Qualifications

• BachelorsDegree plus 5 years technical experience, orMastersDegree plus 4years experience
• ExperiencewithPortfolio and Project Management practices and tools (e.g., Jira, Excel), including resource andfinancial management
• Experience in a Business System Analyst role
• Ability toestablishand maintain quality relationships with all levels across the company and with external partners.
• Strong interpersonal,collaborationand communication (written and verbal) skills
• ProjectCoordination/Managementexperience
