Major Responsibilities
- Responsible for leading all planning cycles (Plan/Update, LRP and LBE) including meaningful commentary and analysis.Responsible for executive summaries and presentations to senior management/ VPs
- Responsible for ensuring monthly financial results are delivered accurately andtimelyand executive summaries with commentary are prepared and delivered to the senior management/VPs
- Day to day strategic Finance partner to5of the MHI Senior Leadership Team VPs
- Liaison among business, Alliance Accountingand R&D Finance Business DevelopmentrepresentingMedical and HEOR in Collaborations, includingparticipation in governance meetings and reporting/LBE/Plan/LRP for MHIportionof collaborations
- Participates in and provides financial analyses for various business initiatives that lend insight into key business drivers enabling management to adapt moreappropriate tactics/strategyto meet the LRP objectives
- Assistswith all financial aspects of key functional projectsandsystems initiatives to ensure finance requirements are implemented appropriately and process efficiencies are realized
- Manages a staff of 1 person
Qualifications
- BA in Accounting or Finance. CPA orMBAa plus.
- 10 years of progressive Accounting or Finance experience.
- Strongfinancial, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communicationskills (oral and written) and ability to influence without direct authority.
- Strongproject management skills, whichincludesleadership in organizing,planning,and executing projects frominceptiontoimplementation.
- Self-starter with ability tooperateindependently,identifyand implement process improvements,and adjust priorities to achieveobjectivesandoperatewith speed and agility.
- Abilitytowork in a matrix organization, buildstrong partnerships,influencework partners both business and finance.
- Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills.
- Knowledge of SAP and BPC.
- Experience leading a diverse team.
