This Direct Support Professional (Floater) position will work in multiple programs. Below are the floater shifts we're hiring for:

• Tues-Sat 7a-3p-Must have at least 4 years of caregiving experience
• Tues-Sat 3p-11p
• Tues-Sat 11p-7a
• Sun-Thurs 7a-3p- Must have at least 4 years of caregiving experience
• Sun-Thurs 3p-11p
• Sun-Thurs 11p-7a

Requirements Include:

• 2 years of professional caregiving or similar experience
• open and flexible availability
• At least 18 years of age
• Able to bend, stoop, reach, and lift up to 50 pounds
• Valid driver’s license and current auto insurance
• Clean, reliable vehicle
• Clear criminal history record
• Social Security Card or Birth Certificate

Responsibilities:

• Foster positive relationships between caretakers and individual served.
• Ensures customer safety and maintaining a safe environment.
• Reminds and assists clients with self-administration of medications (with proper training).
• Encourages self-help activities.
• Documents services provided.
• Performs home management functions such as light housekeeping, laundry, bed making, and cleaning.
• Plans meals, shopping for groceries, preparing and serving food/meals, feeding and clean-up.
• Accompanies clients to scheduled appointments and transports clients or running errands for clients.
• Other duties as assigned.
