Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and proactive Human Resources Specialist to join our team and drive our talent management initiatives forward. Duties
- Lead talent acquisition efforts by managing HR sourcing strategies, conducting interviews, and coordinating recruiting processes through ATS (Applicant Tracking Systems) like iCIMS or Taleo.
- Facilitate employee orientation programs to onboard new hires effectively, ensuring they understand company policies and culture from day one.
- Oversee employee evaluation processes, including performance management and training & development initiatives to promote continuous growth.
- Administer benefits programs, including benefits administration, workers' compensation claims, and FMLA (Family and Medical Leave Act) compliance.
- Support change management projects by assisting with organization design, succession planning, and strategic workforce management to adapt to evolving business needs.
- Manage employee relations by addressing conflicts promptly and fostering a positive work environment through effective communication skills.
- Ensure regulatory compliance management by maintaining up-to-date knowledge of employment & labor law, OSHA standards, and HR legal compliance requirements across all HR functions.
Skills
- Extensive experience in human resources management with a strong understanding of employment law in talent management.
- Proficiency in HR systems such as Workday, SAP SuccessFactors, Oracle HCM, UltiPro, or similar platforms for data collection, data entry, payroll processing, and HRIS management.
- Skilled in project management with the ability to coordinate multiple initiatives simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
- Exceptional communication skills for engaging with employees at all levels and managing sensitive situations effectively.
- Strong analytical skills utilizing Excel data analysis for reporting and decision-making purposes.
- Knowledge of HR sourcing tools like Lever, iCIMS, Greenhouse or equivalent applicant tracking systems (ATS).
- Familiarity with employment & labor law compliance standards such as OSHA regulations and Affirmative Action Planning requirements.
- Ability to handle administrative tasks efficiently including contracts management, social media management for employer branding, and data collection for HR metrics.
