About The Role

Following our successful expansion into the U.S. and continued growth across Europe, we are seeking a Global Head of Sales Academy to help drive our commercial talent function from one of our international hubs (Barcelona, New York or Austin). This person will play a critical role in building Biorce's global sales training capability from the ground up, ensuring every graduate leaves the Academy ready to perform from day one in a fast-moving biotech sales environment.

Who We're Looking For

An experienced learning and commercial leader who knows how to turn ambitious hiring pipelines into high-performing sales teams. This person will architect, launch, and scale Biorce’s global sales training program and define define the strategy, structure, and delivery of our graduate program while managing regional Academy Leads in each hub.

You’ll create a consistent framework for onboarding, classroom instruction, and assessment that ensures each graduate leaves the academy ready to excel in biotech sales. This role combines strategic program design with strong operational leadership and commercial alignment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and execute the global learning strategy for the Biorce Sales Academy, ensuring consistent excellence across three international offices
  • Hire, lead, and coach a team of regional Academy Leads in New York, Austin, and Barcelona
  • Develop a five-week training framework blending classroom learning, applied practice, and performance assessment (2 weeks full-time classes, followed by tapering to 1 day per week by week 5)
  • Build and refine training content across key areas: biotech and clinical trial fundamentals, Biorce’s commercial model, SDR excellence, prospect intelligence, and communication effectiveness
  • Partner closely with Sales Directors and executive leadership to align training outcomes with hiring forecasts, growth goals, and performance KPIs
  • Establish robust evaluation and graduation criteria to identify top performers ready for SDR positions
  • Implement measurement frameworks (graduation rates, ramp time, performance outcomes) to continuously improve program impact
  • Foster a culture of continuous learning, mentorship, and excellence across global teams

Requirements

Must-haves:

  • 8 years in Sales Enablement, Learning & Development, or Commercial Leadership, with at least 3 years in a regional or global capacity
  • Deep understanding of biotech, pharma, or clinical trials and commercial development cycles
  • Proven track record building and scaling structured learning programmes for sales or business development teams
  • Ability to lead distributed teams and collaborate effectively across time zones
  • Strong facilitation, coaching, and communication skills with an analytical approach to measuring effectiveness
