BioPhase is seeking a QA Complaint Intake Specialist to support complaint intake, documentation, and follow-up activities for a medical device company in San Diego. This is a fast-moving, short-term contract opportunity ideal for candidates with experience in Quality Assurance, complaint handling, customer support, or regulated documentation environments.
Responsibilities:
- Receive and document product complaint information from internal teams, customer support, and other approved channels
- Enter and maintain complaint records within the electronic Quality Management System (eQMS)
- Review complaint details for completeness and follow up on missing or unclear information
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to gather supporting documentation and investigation details
- Track complaint follow-up activities, returned product status, and related documentation
- Support complaint trending, reporting, and quality system timelines
- Escalate urgent or potentially reportable events to QA Management as needed
Qualifications:
- 1β3 years of experience in Quality Assurance, complaint handling, customer support, regulated documentation, or a related field
- Medical device or pharmaceutical industry experience preferred
- Experience working within an eQMS or regulated environment is a plus
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and communication skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
