BioPhase is seeking a QA Complaint Intake Specialist to support complaint intake, documentation, and follow-up activities for a medical device company in San Diego. This is a fast-moving, short-term contract opportunity ideal for candidates with experience in Quality Assurance, complaint handling, customer support, or regulated documentation environments.


Responsibilities:

  • Receive and document product complaint information from internal teams, customer support, and other approved channels
  • Enter and maintain complaint records within the electronic Quality Management System (eQMS)
  • Review complaint details for completeness and follow up on missing or unclear information
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to gather supporting documentation and investigation details
  • Track complaint follow-up activities, returned product status, and related documentation
  • Support complaint trending, reporting, and quality system timelines
  • Escalate urgent or potentially reportable events to QA Management as needed


Qualifications:

  • 1–3 years of experience in Quality Assurance, complaint handling, customer support, regulated documentation, or a related field
  • Medical device or pharmaceutical industry experience preferred
  • Experience working within an eQMS or regulated environment is a plus
  • Strong attention to detail, organization, and communication skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)

  • Local San Diego candidates only
  • Looking for candidates available to start ASAP
  • Firm 12-week contract assignment
