BioPhase is hiring a Lab Sample Management Contractor to support our client’s research operations in South San Francisco. This part-time, onsite role is ideal for someone detail-oriented with experience in a biotech or industrial lab setting.
Responsibilities:
- Receive, catalog, and store custom-synthesized compounds.
- Manage the internal compound collection, including periodic inventories.
- Dispense and track compounds requested by scientists.
- Support automation and liquid-handling robotics for assay plate creation.
- Maintain compound and protein inventory systems, including freezer management and space consolidation.
- Collaborate with research teams to maintain barcoded storage and electronic SDS records.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a biotech or industrial lab environment.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Comfortable working with lab automation and informatics systems.
- Customer service mindset and strong communication skills.
