Junior Hardware Electrical Engineer

We have an immediate opening for an electrical engineer to support and enhance our extensive product line of physiological data acquisition systems. 

Responsibilities

·        Troubleshoot devices that fail production testing or have been sent back for repair

(note that this requires employee to be on site). 

·        Identify substitutes to replace obsolete parts and when necessary, design

accommodations for said replacements.

·        Assist with the design of new equipment under the supervision of senior engineers. 

·        Ensure documentation of designs is kept up to date, stored, and disseminated properly.

Qualifications

·        B.S./M.S. in Electrical Engineering or equivalent

Preferred

·        Experience with analog, digital, and mixed circuit design.

·        Proficiency at soldering.

·        Familiarity with Altium.

·        Strong communication skills and ability to work with teams.

This is a full-time on-site (Goleta, CA) position.
