What are the responsibilities and job description for the Sales Development Representative - LAB position at Biomedical Solutions/Booth Medical Equipment?
About Booth Medical Equipment
For over 30 years, Booth Medical Equipment has been a trusted leader in medical and laboratory equipment distribution and national autoclave service, serving hospitals, clinics, universities, and specialty practices nationwide. We're known for reliable products, responsive service, and long-term customer partnerships — and we're growing our sales team.
The Role
This is a high-volume outbound phone sales role focused on laboratory customers. As an SDR, you'll be the first point of contact for prospective labs — qualifying leads, prospecting new business, and helping close service and repair contracts. You'll spend most of your day on the phone, and your success directly drives your earnings.
It's a strong fit for someone with sharp communication skills, curiosity about how medical and lab equipment works, and the drive to build a real career in B2B sales.
What You'll Do
- Make high-volume outbound calls to prospect and qualify new lab customers
- Follow up via email and LinkedIn to book demos and appointments for senior reps
- Close service and repair contracts where appropriate
- Keep lead and activity data accurate in the CRM (HubSpot, Salesforce, or similar)
- Support active sales campaigns and promotions
- Partner with marketing and sales to improve lead generation and conversion
What We're Looking For
- 1–3 years in sales, lead generation, or customer outreach (B2B preferred)
- Comfortable making a high volume of outbound calls daily
- Strong verbal and written communication
- Self-motivated, organized, and good with time management
- Comfortable with CRM software and Microsoft Office / Google Workspace
Bonus points (not required): experience or familiarity with the medical, laboratory, or healthcare industry.
What We Offer
- Competitive base salary uncapped, performance-based commission
- Health, dental, and vision insurance
- Paid time off and holidays
- Hands-on training and clear paths for advancement
- A supportive, growth-oriented team that promotes from within
