Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role located in Albany, NY. The Formulation Scientist will be responsible for developing and optimizing pharmaceutical formulations and conducting various research and development (R&D) activities. Daily tasks will include performing laboratory experiments, ensuring compliance with regulatory protocols, assisting in technology transfer processes, and maintaining detailed records. Qualifications
- Proficiency in Laboratory Skills and Research methodologies, with attention to detail and adherence to safety and quality protocols.
- Experience in Formulation development and Research and Development (R&D) activities, including problem-solving and technical innovation in developing pharmaceutical products.
- Knowledge and experience with Technology Transfer processes to effectively collaborate and communicate findings.
- Strong analytical skills, organizational abilities, and the capacity to work both independently and in team settings.
- A degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences, Chemistry, Biochemistry, or a related field; advanced degrees or certifications are preferred.
- Familiarity with cGMP/GLP practices and regulatory guidelines; prior experience within a CRO is a plus.
