Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and power tools safely to transport materials and assist with assembly tasks across the manufacturing floor
- Support the setup, calibration, and maintenance of machinery and equipment used in production processes
- Assist with assembly line operations, ensuring components are correctly assembled according to specifications
- Use hand tools and mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot issues, perform repairs, and maintain equipment functionality
- Maintain accurate records of production activities, inventory movements, and quality checks within the warehouse or factory setting
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily production goals while adhering to safety standards
- Conduct routine inspections of machinery and work areas to identify potential hazards or maintenance needs
Experience
- Previous factory or manufacturing facility experience is highly preferred
- Hands-on experience with assembly lines, hand tools, power tools, and mechanical systems
- Warehouse experience involving material handling equipment such as forklifts is a plus
- Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues efficiently
- Familiarity with safety protocols in a manufacturing environment is essential
- Basic understanding of manufacturing processes and quality control procedures
