Sales Executive, West Coast

Location: West Coast, U.S. (San Francisco)
Department: Sales / Business Development
Reports To: VP of Sales

Role Overview

The ideal candidate brings:

  • A proven track record of building new territories and growing account bases from the ground up.
  • 7 years of experience selling into biopharma and CGT companies
  • A strong network of existing industry relationships

This is a high-visibility role with significant autonomy and opportunity to make a direct impact on revenue growth. You’ll leverage your 7 years of experience and strong biopharma network to develop strategic relationships, generate new business, and drive revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Territory Development: Develop and execute a strategic territory plan focused on establishing new accounts and growth with existing customers to expand market share in the biopharma, and cell & gene therapy markets.
  • Business Development: Build and manage a robust pipeline of qualified opportunities, from lead generation through close. Represent Biologos at industry events, conferences, and trade shows to enhance brand visibility.
  • Sales Execution: Drive the full sales cycle from prospecting to closing, ensuring revenue targets are met or exceeded. Provide accurate sales forecasts to leadership. Maintain detailed records of customer interactions, opportunities, and forecasts within Salesforce
  • Relationship Management: Leverage existing relationships to identify, engage, and convert new customers. Conduct on-site visits, technical discussions, and business reviews with key accounts.
  • Market Intelligence: Stay ahead of industry trends and competitor activities to position our solutions effectively.
  • Collaboration: Work closely cross-functionally with marketing, technical support, and operations to ensure customer success and retention.

What We’re Looking For

§ Experience: 7 years in sales within biopharma or cell/gene therapy markets

§ Proven success in territory development and new account acquisition

§ Strong existing network of decision-makers in life sciences

§ Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, organizational, and relationship-building skills.

§ High sense of urgency and ability to successfully execute sales plan

§ Strong business acumen and ability to understand market opportunities

§ Ability to travel across the West Coast as needed.

§ Ability to develop power point presentations and deliver to customers, decision makers, management, executive leadership

§ Ability to thrive in a dynamic, growing company environment with evolving priorities

§ Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Business, or related field preferred

  • Competitive base salary attractive commission. The annual base salary for this position ranges from $120,000 to $150,000. The base salary range represents the anticipated low and high of the Biologos range for this position. Actual salary will vary based on various factors such as the candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies, and proficiency for the role. In addition, some positions may include eligibility to earn commissions/bonus based on company and / or individual performance.
