Job Description
The Medical Support Specialist will work under the guidance of the Center Manager to provide operational support and medical expertise to our plasma donation centers. The ideal candidate will have experience in clinical or hospital settings and be licensed or certified as a Registered Nurse (RN), Nurse Practitioner (NP), or Physician Assistant (PA).
Responsibilities:
- Determine donor eligibility to donate plasma
- Manage donor adverse events
- Review laboratory test results
- Notify donors of unsuitable test results
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Current licensure or certification as an RN, NP, or PA
- Basic IV therapy skills
- Completion of FDA-approved training requirements for Medical Support Specialists
