Job Overview
As a Medical Screener at Takeda, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety and well-being of plasma donors. Your primary responsibility will be to perform phlebotomy and conduct medical screenings to support plasma center operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Answer phones and greet donors while maintaining a safe and welcoming environment.
- Use our Donor Information System to prepare donor charts, maintain accurate records, and coordinate donor compensation.
- Help identify operational opportunities for continuous improvement and initiate changes to center processes using company-approved procedures.
Additional requirements include working a variety of shifts, including Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays, as well as occasional lifting of materials up to 32 lbs. Fine motor coordination, depth perception, and ability to hear equipment from a distance are also essential skills for this role.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Ability to walk and/or stand for the entire work shift.
- 1 years minimum experience working in a customer- or patient-facing role is highly desirable.
