Job Description
The Program Manager is responsible for leading complex IT projects through the full project lifecycle, including governance, planning, budgeting, execution, quality assurance, risk management, stakeholder communication, and successful delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead day-to-day project execution, milestones, and vendor/system integrator deliverables.
- Manage project scope, schedule, budget, resources, risks, and issues to ensure successful delivery.
- Facilitate stakeholder meetings and maintain effective communication across project teams.
- Ensure compliance with SDLC/Agile methodologies, security, quality, and regulatory standards.
- Oversee data migration, system integration, testing, User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and deployment activities.
- Prepare and maintain project plans, status reports, risk logs, and project documentation.
- Manage vendor performance, issue resolution, and organizational change management activities.
- Drive process improvements, operational efficiency, and enterprise modernization initiatives.
- Foster a collaborative, high-performing team culture.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or a related field.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification required.
- 10 years of project management experience.
- 8 years managing complex IT development projects.
- 5 years applying PMI PMBOK methodologies.
- Experience leading organizational change management initiatives across multiple stakeholder groups.
- Minimum 2 years of healthcare or public sector technology project management experience.
- Strong leadership, communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Expertise in project planning, budgeting, scheduling, risk management, quality assurance, and vendor management.
- Experience with SDLC/Agile, system integration, data migration, QA/QC, and UAT.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
- Experience leading enterprise digital transformation and modernization initiatives.
- Experience managing large-scale IT modernization or enterprise transformation projects.
- Experience with enterprise infrastructure initiatives, including cloud migration, data center modernization, and network transformation.
- Experience leading IT centralization, shared services, or legacy system modernization initiatives.
