Job Description
- Answer telephone inquiries on the Division's automated Contact Center
- Assist customers inquiries regarding Business tax/employer registry, public business filings and records, Notaries Public, Business Records, Apostilles, and other programs administered by DORES
- Make authorized updates to online accounts. i.e. add/end eligibilities, update addresses.
- Put aside those that require higher level changes.
- Update business sales tax information application to a non-reporting status within the system.
- Update tax eligibility in application to add special eligibilities
- Computer skills which includes Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel
- Ability to perform simple data entry
- Ability to deal with people patiently
- Desired, customer service experience
- Call center experience a plus
- Must Have High School Diploma
- 37.5 hours a week
- 1/2-hour lunch (unpaid)
- No remote
