Job Description
The Administrative Staff Specialist provides high-level administrative and operational support to ensure the smooth and efficient functioning of medical and clinical office activities. This position supports providers, nurses, and management staff by coordinating administrative processes, managing documentation, handling scheduling, and ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations and internal policies
Skills Required
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and electronic health record systems.
- High attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to jump in where needed and learn a new system quickly (eCW).
- 2 years of administrative experience in a healthcare or medical office setting (preferred). Knowledge of medical terminology, EHR/EMR systems, and healthcare compliance standards.
- Associate or bachelor s degree in business administration, Healthcare Administration, or related field.
- 8 AM- 5:00 PM.
- Candidates are expected to start as soon as possible and the assignment will extend through to June 2026 Candidates will be driving his/her own car and will be reimbursed for the mileage.
- Could be between 4 sites (Phoenix, Glendale, Goodyear and Mesa).
