The Advanced Pharmacy Practice Experience at Biodesix allows students to work remotely and obtain experience working cross-functionally within Health Economics Outcomes Research (HEOR) and Medical Affairs. Students will spend 4-6 weeks working with Biodesix and work closely with their preceptor.
Pharmacy students who participate in the Biodesix APPE rotation program will acquire knowledge, skills, and abilities beneficial to their professional career.
This Practice Experience Is Designed To Provide PharmD Students In Their Last Year Of Pharmacy School With a Basic Understanding Of The Medical Diagnostic Industry, How Medical Diagnostics Come To Market, And The Barriers To Adoption. Practical And Didactic Experience Will Expose The Student To a Variety Of Activities And Competencies. Specific Project Work May Include Assisting With Any Of The Following
Rotations are offered only in the last year of pharmacy school. Students are encouraged to apply in the year preceding their last year of pharmacy school.
