Medical Billing Internship (Undergraduate or Graduate)

LOCATION: Louisville, CO – On-Site

START DATE RANGE: MAY 11 to MAY 18, 2026 | END DATE RANGE: JULY 31 to AUGUST 7, 2026

TIME COMMITMENT: 40 hours per week

THE ROLE:

Join our Billing team for a hands-on internship focused on data analytics and reimbursement optimization. You’ll work on real-world projects that involve pulling, organizing, and analyzing quantitative data to identify trends and improve key performance indicators (KPIs). This is a great opportunity to gain experience in finance, business intelligence, and healthcare data management.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

• Pull data from multiple sources and perform ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes
• Analyze trends and create dashboards to normalize KPIs
• Develop repeatable reporting processes for team handoff
• Dive deep into data to uncover opportunities for improving reimbursement success

WHAT YOU’LL BRING:

• Education: Undergraduate or Graduate student in Finance, Accounting, Business Analytics, or related field
• Coursework: Finance, Accounting, Data Analytics, or Healthcare Management, preferred
• Strong Power BI and Excel skills, required
• Familiarity with data analysis and reporting
• Quantitative and problem-solving abilities
• Prior exposure to data analytics or dashboard development is a plus

WHAT YOU’LL GET:

• Training on HIPAA compliance, Quadax, and SFDC systems
• Daily guidance from your supervisor and team members
• Exposure to healthcare billing systems and advanced analytics tools

COMPENSATION

• Undergraduate Rate of $19.00 per hour
• Graduate Rate of $21.00 per hour
