The Role
Join our Information Technology team for a hands-on summer internship focused on Business Intelligence (BI) and data-driven solutions. You’ll work on real projects that impact how we use data across the organization.
What You’ll Do
- Build and quality-check a data dictionary using AI tools
- Document BI best practices
- Assist with BI development and data automation activities
- Meet with leaders across departments to understand data needs
- Help create a Biodesix Dashboard for KPIs and wins
- Explore AI research and BI industry trends
- Education: Undergraduate student in Information Systems, Business Analytics, Data Science, Computer Science, or Engineering
- Basic understanding of data modeling and analysis
- Strong attention to detail and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Experience with BI projects, preferred
- Familiarity with SQL and database management, preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, preferred
- Exposure to how Biodesix operates and manages data in collaboration with cross-functional teams
- Hands-on learning with BI tools, AI applications and data ecosystems
- Experience in best practices for data governance and automation
- The opportunity to work on meaningful projects with measurable impact
- Rate of $19.00 per hour
