Essential Responsibilities

  • Assist in administrative projects as assigned
  • Provide support for reception operations by assisting with front desk lunch coverage and coverage during primary personnel’s absences
  • Verify the accuracy of courier charge entries to ensure correct entry into tracking
  • Support and help manage project inventory and activities
  • Perform quality control data review of raw data and data transfers
  • Issue quality control review observations with scientific staff to ensure data integrity
  • Update and format laboratory reports, methods and related project documentation to ensure completeness for laboratory review
  • Prepare and submit projects’ data and reports for Quality Assurance audit review
  • Generate project support documentation
  • Perform end of study administrative activities
  • Adhere to safety and compliance requirements
  • Assist in special projects as assigned by manager

Minimum Preferred Qualifications - Education/Experience:

  • Associate's or Bachelor’s degree in English, Business Administration, Biotechnology, or related field with not less than one (1) years’ professional experience
  • Knowledge base in science with the relevant regulations for our industry (preferred)

Minimum Preferred Qualifications - Skills:

  • High level of proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Strong organizational and project administration skills
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Acute attention to detail
  • Ability to work effectively within a team to meet objectives under time constraints
  • Experience working in a GxP environment (preferred)

Supervisory Responsibility

  • This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

Supervision Received

  • Frequent supervision and instructions
  • Infrequent exercises discretionary authority

Working Environment

  • Primarily office environment
  • Routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, and filing cabinets

Physical Demands

  • Ability to work in an upright and/or stationary position for up to eight (8) hours per day
  • Repetitive hand movement of both hands with the ability to make fast, simple, repeated movements of the fingers, hands, and wrists to operate office equipment
  • Occasional mobility needed
  • Occasional crouching, stooping, with frequent bending and twisting of upper body and neck Light to moderate lifting and carrying (or otherwise moving) objects, including office supplies and laptop computer, with a maximum lift of 20 pounds
  • Ability to access and use a variety ofcomputer software
  • Ability to communicate information and ideas so others will understand, with the ability to listen to and understand information and ideas presented through spoken words and sentences
  • Frequently interacts with others to obtain relate information to diverse groups
  • Works independently with little guidance or reliance on oral or written instructions and plans work schedules to meet goals; requires multiple periods of intense concentration Performs a wide range of variable tasks as dictated by variable demands and changing conditions with little predictability as to the occurrence
  • Ability to perform under stress and multi-task
  • Regular and consistent attendance

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work

  • This is a full-time position Some flexibility in hours is allowed, but the employee must be available during the “core” work hours as published in the BioAgilytix Employee Handbook
  • Occasional weekend, holiday, and evening work
The hourly pay range listed above reflects BioAgilytix’s hiring range for this position.
