Yoh Scientific is hiring a Molecular Kit Assembly Technician (GMP) for our client, a molecular diagnostics manufacturer in Hercules, CA.

Do you follow written instructions with precision and document your work accurately?
Are you comfortable working with manual, semi-auto, and automatic equipment?
Do you thrive in GMP/Quality Systems environments where quality comes first?
Can you lift up to 50 lbs occasionally and work safely around equipment and chemicals?

Receive and verify materials; set up, operate, and assist with equipment calibration.
Dispense dry/wet materials; label, seal, cap, and torque bottles; assemble components and kits.
Perform math and measurement calculations and complete all required batch documentation.
Inspect products using visual, automated, electronic, and mechanical methods.
Dispose of scrap properly; uphold 5S and site safety requirements.
Use motorized and non-motorized equipment to move materials as instructed.
Monitor workstation inventory and promptly inform the Lead about abnormal production issues.

Hands-on assembly involving standing, sitting, reaching, bending, walking, stooping, kneeling, crouching, climbing, talking, and hearing.
Occasional lifting up to 50 lbs; requires close/color vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment.
Potential exposure to moving mechanical parts, chemicals/hazardous materials, and risk of electric shock.
Work may include coolers/freezers and handling dry ice; moderate noise; PPE required.

High school diploma or equivalent.
0–3 years related experience (2 years preferred) or an equivalent mix of education/experience.
Reading, writing, and comprehension skills to follow SOPs and work instructions.
Basic math, problem-solving, and computer skills; SAP transaction experience is a plus.
Experience on manual/semi-auto/automatic production machinery preferred.
Team player who is flexible, detail-oriented, and quality minded.
