Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and skilled Construction & Maintenance Technician to join our team and ensure the seamless operation of our facilities. This role involves installing, maintaining, and servicing steel garbage and linen chutes in high-rise buildings, ensuring compliance with safety standards and delivering professional service.
Required Qualification
- High school diploma or GED
- Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings
- Proficiency using power tools (drills, grinders, saws) and measuring tools.
- Prior construction work experience, with ability to provide supporting documentation
- Experience working with chute manufacturers
- Physical ability to lift 50 lbs, climb ladders, and work at heights
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Ability to obtain a passport (no felony convictions)
- Willingness to pass a criminal background check and pre-employment drug screening
Preferred Qualification
- 5 years of chute experience.
- 10 years of construction experience.
- 10 years of welding experience.
- OSHA certification.
- Experience with fire-rated building components.
- HVAC or mechanical trade experience
Pay: $35,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
