Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of floors, restrooms, offices, and common areas using appropriate cleaning tools and techniques, including buffing and floor care procedures
- Assist with custodial tasks such as trash removal, dusting, window washing, and surface sanitation to uphold high cleanliness standards
- Support industrial cleaning projects, including deep cleaning of large equipment or specialized areas within the facility
- Maintain supplies by restocking cleaning products and equipment, ensuring all tools are in good working condition for daily use
- Help with light maintenance tasks such as minor repairs or painting to support overall facilities upkeep
- Follow safety protocols during all cleaning activities to ensure a hazard-free environment for staff and visitors
- Collaborate with team members to complete assigned cleaning schedules efficiently and effectively
Experience
- Prior janitorial or custodial experience preferred, especially in commercial or industrial settings
- Knowledge of floor care techniques including buffing, stripping, waxing, and carpet cleaning is highly desirable
- Experience with facilities maintenance or general upkeep tasks enhances your suitability for this role
