Core Responsibilities
- Be the frontline HR partner for employees and leaders, ensuring a positive, compliant, and inclusive workplace.
- Manage full-cycle recruitment and onboarding for hourly and salaried roles, from sourcing to day-one readiness.
- Advise and coach managers on performance management, conflict resolution, and consistent application of policy.
- Build, refine, and implement policies and procedures that meet legal requirements and business goals.
- Oversee compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and internal policies.
- Design and run orientation and onboarding programs that highlight a collaborative and respectful culture.
- Collaborate with operations leadership on engagement, retention, and recognition initiatives.
- Administer HR processes: leaves of absence, benefits, attendance—executed with accuracy and confidentiality.
- Lead continuous improvement in HR using Lean principles and a creative, solutions-first mindset.
- Maintain meticulous, confidential employee records.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 5 years of progressive HR experience; manufacturing or heavy industrial strongly preferred.
- Willingness to travel between Fredericksburg and Culpeper, VA.
- Expert knowledge of employment law and HR best practices.
- Demonstrated success in employee relations, recruiting, and onboarding.
- Experience creating and implementing policy.
- Outstanding communication, interpersonal, and conflict-resolution skills to foster a respectful environment.
- Bilingual English/Spanish strongly preferred.
- UKG experience is a plus.
- Lean manufacturing exposure is a plus.
- Ability to thrive in a high-volume production environment while staying sustainable in approach.

Salary : $90,000 - $105,000
