Bingham Ag Services is currently seeking a Farm Store Lead. This position is responsible for Assisting the Sales Manager with customer service in assigned strategic accounts and focusing on feed, twine, and heavy hardware. Understanding farm store products to benefit all our local growers. Managing warehouse, inventory, and all customer needs within the farm store.
The Farm Store Lead will primarily be focused on:
- Collaborate with the Sales Manager in completing bulk transactions and achieving new sales goals.
- Contribute to the development and execution of sales strategies.
- Assist the Sales Manager with sales calls as needed to enhance customer relationships and drive sales.
- Work closely with Sales Manager to accurately track customer’s charge accounts.
- Skillfully resolve customer issues and complaints to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Follow up with customers to address inquiries and provide assistance.
- Complete sales transactions efficiently and accurately.
- Fill customer propane tanks according to safety guidelines.
- Load trucks and trailers using a forklift, ensuring the safe and secure transportation of goods.
- Maintain all farm store inventory, conducting regular cycle counts to track stock levels.
- Monitor seasonal needs for growers and ranchers to ensure appropriate product availability.
- Maintain accurate records of sales transactions, inventory levels, and vehicle/equipment documentation.
The preferred candidate for the Farm Store Lead will have the following:
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- 1-2 years of experience in farm store operations or a related field.
- Detailed and able to stay organized.
- Excellent customer service and presentation skills.
- Strong computer skills and able to learn company systems and processes.
