Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Live Stream Assistant to join our dynamic digital marketing team. In this role, you will play a vital part in supporting live streaming events, ensuring seamless broadcasts, and enhancing overall viewer engagement. Your creativity, technical skills, and passion for social media will help elevate our brand presence across multiple platforms. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in digital content creation, social media management, and multimedia editing within a fast-paced environment.
Filming will take place for roughly 5 hours per day on weekdays and weekends. During filming you will sit in the control room next to the director and producers. The main responsibility for this position is assisting with UI during the livestream: pinning products up for sale, and general stream maintenance. The other major job responsibility is assisting and maintaining the stream's social media, which will include a small amount of photo/footage editing (someone else does the bulk of the editing).
Duties
- Assist in setting up live streaming equipment and interface to ensure high-quality broadcasts.
- Monitor live streams in real-time to troubleshoot technical issues promptly and maintain smooth broadcasting flow.
- Manage social media platforms by posting daily content.
- Support the creation of engaging visual content on social media , giving our editor feedback.
Requirements
- Proven experience or strong interest in social media management, digital marketing, or multimedia content creation.
- Familiarity with social media management tools.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to proofread content accurately.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Passion for social media trends, branding, public relations, and relationship management within digital spaces.
- Live-streaming experience is a major bonus, but these skills can be taught.
