Position Overview

Key Responsibilities
Scheduling Requirements
- Must be available at least one weekend day
- Must be available for weekends and holidays as needed
Requirements
- Previous experience working with animals
- Comfortable handling dogs of all sizes and temperaments
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Physically fit, able to stand for extended periods, move quickly if needed (this is a very physical job)
- Ability to lift 50 lbs
- Reliable transportation
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, hands-on environment
- Basic computer knowledge
- Must be 18 years old
Dog Care
- Feed, water, and provide medications to dogs as instructed
- Supervise dogs during playtime and exercise
- Monitor dogs for signs of illness, injury, or distress
- Follow each dog’s individual care instructions including diet and activity needs
Facility Care
- Clean kennels, play areas, and facility spaces
- Maintain a clean, sanitary, and organized environment
- Assist with daily facility upkeep and laundry
Front Desk / Customer Service
- Welcome clients and check pets in and out for boarding, daycare, and grooming services
- Communicate with pet owners and answer basic questions about their pet’s stay
Basic Grooming
- Perform basic grooming services such as baths and nail trims
