POSITION SUMMARY
The primary responsibility of a Gate Shop Associate is to assemble gate parts to frame and to ensure the product is kept in a clean and organized manner.
Pay: $18 an hr
Schedule: Monday-Friday

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
Responsibilities
- Uses verbal or written instruction from work orders and consolidates materials to assemble gates
- Assembles chain link gates using pipe and fittings
- Assembly requires cutting pipe to length and the use of hand or power tools
- Performs visual inspection on completed work, ensuring quality
- Maintain a clean and safe work area
- Other duties as required by business needs or as assigned
Work Environment
This position works in a warehouse setting, with some outdoor exposure during the workday. This role uses standard warehouse equipment such as forklifts, box cutters, etc.

The employee must have the ability to make sound judgment that is required while driving a forklift. The employee must regularly lift and/or move objects up to 50 pounds, frequently lift and/or move objects up to 50 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move objects that weigh more than 75 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
EDUCATION, QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS
- High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED)
- Ability to stand for long periods of time
- 1 years experience in a warehouse position
- Experience with building materials is a plus
- Must be able to work overtime as needed
- Ability to read, write, and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, orders etc.
- Good hand-eye coordination, concentration skills, and a demonstrated attention to detail
