What are the responsibilities and job description for the Packaging Production Associate position at Binders Inc.?
We are seeking a Packaging Production Associate with experience in packaging production or a strong willingness to learn. This role supports the manufacturing of custom office supplies and packaging products in a fast-paced production environment. Light lifting is required. Experience in packaging, case-making, or bindery operations is highly preferred.
The ideal candidate is dependable, team-oriented, mechanically inclined, and brings a strong “can do” attitude to daily production operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with setup and operation of case-making and packaging automation equipment.
- Ensure gluing systems are operating according to production specifications.
- Monitor assembly operations for product quality and equipment performance.
- Troubleshoot minor mechanical and production issues as they arise.
- Inspect finished products to ensure exceptional quality standards before transfer to finishing stations.
- Support team production goals while maintaining safety and efficiency standards.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Follow all company safety and operational procedures.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in packaging, manufacturing, bindery, or case-making preferred.
- Willingness to learn automated packaging and production processes.
- Ability to perform light lifting and stand for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills are a plus.
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic.
